To all our patrons,
We miss you! Following Governor Mill’s Stay Healthy at Home directive of March 31st, the library will remain closed to the public until further notice. We miss seeing all of you! Our days are not the same without being able to personally interact with you.
Even though we are closed to the public, please know that the librarians of Walker Memorial Library are here for you! Please direct e-mail inquiries regarding library services to firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information on the City of Westbrook’s response and the status of the pandemic, please visit https://www.westbrookmaine.com/639/Coronavirus.
We would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to the frontline healthcare workers and first responders who are risking their lives to keep our community safe each day; to the Westbrook city schools for all they are doing for the community’s students; and, finally, to the non-profit organizations, community organizers, and volunteers who selflessly donate their time to help neighbors. All of you make our lives easier during this uncertain time.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope that you are staying well and keeping safe and we look forward to seeing all of you again.
In the meantime, here are some things that are available to you:
